Beer Battered Onion Rings

Preparation

  1. Combine flour, salt, pepper, cayenne, egg, and oil. Gradually whisk in beer until all is combined. (For best results, refrigerate for several hours before using.)

  2. Separate onion rings and dip into batter.

  3. Heat oil to 370 degrees Fahrenheit. In small batches, deep fry onion rings until golden brown.

  4. Drain onion rings on paper towels before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
