Beer Bread

A loaf and two buttered slices of Beer Bread, next to a filled butter dish.

A delicious, warm addition to any baking rotational: this beer bread is sure to be a new favorite.

cups warm, flat beer

tbsp olive oil

tbsp sugar

cups flour

¾

tsp salt

¼

oz active dry yeast (1 packet)

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order listed, except

    the yeast.

  2. Make a hole in the top of the flour with a spoon and add the yeast.

  3. Close the lid and select BASIC BREAD, START.

  4. Remove from pan when done. Let cool 20–30 minutes before slicing.
