Fried Potatoes

Who doesn’t love a good potato dish? Fried potatoes make for such a great side at any meal of the day. Give this recipe a try. You can make it all your own with your own favorite seasoning blends.

medium potatoes, cleaned and sliced 1/8″ thick

1

tbsp olive oil

½

medium onion, sliced

1

tbsp butter

salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Soak sliced potatoes in a bowl of water in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Drain, rinse, and pat dry.

  2. In a large bowl, toss together the potatoes, onions, and olive oil.

  3. In a medium skillet, melt butter on high heat. Add potatoes, onions, salt and pepper.

  4. Cover and fry for 5 minutes. Flip with a spatula and fry for another 5 minutes uncovered.

  5. Flip the potatoes a final time, adding more salt and pepper. Fry for another 5 minutes. Enjoy!
