Game Day Chili

Football season is upon us, and so is chili season! Combine the two by making this tasty chili recipe perfect for a crowd on your game day gatherings. This chili is perfect topped off with some cheese, sour cream, crackers, or any of your favorite chili additions.

lbs ground beef

large onion

garlic cloves

minced

15 oz. cans pinto beans

rinsed and drained

8 oz. cans tomato sauce

12 oz. bottles dark beer

14.5 oz. cans beef broth

6 oz. cans tomato paste

4.5 oz. cans chopped green chilies

tbsp chili powder

tbsp Worcestershire sauce

4

tsp ground cumin

tsp cayenne powder

2

tsp paprika

1

tsp garlic powder

2

tsp hot sauce

Preparation

  1. Brown ground beef, onion and garlic in a dutch oven until no longer pink. Drain well.

  2. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened.

  4. Garnish with sour cream, shredded cheese, and crackers.

    Serves 12-16.
