Taco Meat
On the nights when no one can agree what they want for dinner, everyone will be able to settle on tacos; but of course, you’re going to need taco meat first! That’s why we love this freezer recipe, which lets us always keep some taco meat on hand and cuts our mealtime prep down on those busy weeknights. You only need two ingredients, ground beef and taco seasoning, and three one gallon freezer safe bags. After you cook the ground beef and taco seasoning per the directions on the package, simply divide the ingredients between the three bags and let freeze for up to three months. When you’re feeling like a delicious home cooked meal but don’t want to put it any effort, simply take out the freezer bag, dump the contents into a slow cooker, and let the appliance work its magic! And don’t forget the other taco essentials beyond the taco meat: shredded cheese, lettuce, salsa, and sour cream. Enjoy!
