Sometimes mixing things up can be fun! That’s where this taco pie recipe comes in. This recipe is the perfect hybrid of a hot dish and tacos. You can make this taco pie all your own by adding different toppings that you’d prefer on your very own tacos.

lbs ground beef

chopped onion

can tomatoes

drained

can tomato sauce

tbsp chili powder

tsp cumin seed

package tortilla shells

1

package cheddar cheese

Preparation

  1. Brown beef and chopped onion.

  2. Add drained tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin seed, salt and pepper.

  3. Line casserole dish with tortilla shells.

  4. Layer beef mixture and half of the cheddar cheese. Repeat layers and top with cheese.

  5. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees F.
